Enhanced Search function with more landmarks
MTR Mobile has enhanced the search function to now cover more landmark information. You can plan your journey simply by entering the name or address of the landmark as origination or destination in the Train Trip Planner and Light Rail Planner. Now planning your journey with MTR has never been so easy!
Comprehensive Journey Planning
Search for your route along the MTR by simply tapping on the MTR route map and choose your starting location and desired destination. Fare information, recommended routing, estimated journey time, interchange, interchange guide / platform, first/last train schedule, station services and etc. will be displayed accordingly.
Accurate journey planning with point-to-point search for landmarks around exits
Planning for your ride becomes much easier with the expanded point-to-point search function. On top of MTR stations, you can also select station exits and popular locations near the MTR network.
Comprehensive barrier-free facilities listing
Search easily for barrier-free facilities, by categories or stations. You can also get the special service of station lift in station through the barrier-free-function. Relevant information is also displayed on your journey planner.

MTR Club and Traffic News apps are integrated into MTR Mobile. Once you download MTR Mobile, you can check the MTR Club information anytime, anywhere and get instant updates on special service arrangements.

Have you ever hoped that MTR's updates on special train service arrangements can be viewed from your phone?
MTR is one of the most reliable railways in the world, consistently achieving passenger on-time performance of 99.9%. However, the fail-safe design of the system or ad-hoc equipment fault may result in delays to normal railway services from time to time. Traffic News will become handy in helping you plan an alternative route during more serious delays.
Traffic News will also inform subscribers when tropical cyclones are affecting Hong Kong, of special train service arrangements during festive holidays, as well as Red Alerts that have been issued when train service has been or is expected to be seriously delayed for more than 20 minutes. MTR aims to assist in your journey planning by leveraging this digital channel and strengthening our communication with you.
Traffic News also allows you to personalise the push notification function to receive immediate updates on service information for specific lines. So any update you get is exactly what you need.
